What Kids Walk Out With

Six things every
parent notices.

01

Confidence That Lasts

Confidence built on actual skill, not stickers. Kids walk out knowing they can carry themselves with calm.

02

Discipline on the Mat

Lines up. Listens. Bows in. Bows out. Habits that travel back into the classroom and the dinner table.

03

Anti Bullying Tools

Verbal de escalation first. Awareness second. Physical skill last and only when there is no other option. Real tools, not karate movie myths.

04

Fitness That Sticks

Cardio, coordination, and core strength baked into every class. Kids leave tired and asking when they can come back.

05

Background Checked Coach

Coach Ben is CPR current, first aid current, and background checked. Parents are welcome on the bench at every class, every time.

06

Belts That Mean Something

Every belt is tested in front of the room. Tested skills. Tested forms. Tested character. No belt is sold. Not one.

Two Age Groups

Sized to where
your kid is.

5 / 8

Little Warriors (Ages 5 to 8)

Stance, balance, listening, lines, and the very first strikes. Heavy on games and structure. Class length is 45 minutes so attention spans win.

  • Focus on coordination and motor control
  • Padded targets and partner drills
  • Forms taught in short, repeatable chunks
  • Belt testing every 8 to 12 weeks when ready

9 / 12

Combat Club (Ages 9 to 12)

Full curriculum. Striking technique, controlled partner work, conditioning, sparring drills with full safety gear, and the same forms taught to adults.

  • Real kickboxing technique scaled to age
  • Olympic Taekwondo footwork and forms
  • Controlled sparring when invited by Coach Ben
  • Path to the adult Fight Team for the ambitious

The TCB curriculum changed our family. Our daughter does not just throw a clean kick. She walks into rooms differently. She trusts herself. That is what we paid for and that is what we got.

Tuition

Plain numbers.
No contract.

Kids Combat Club is included in the same monthly tuition as adult programs. One kid. Two kids. Same rate. We refuse to discount a child’s training based on a sibling pricing trick.

Veteran and first responder families receive priority enrollment when classes fill. No paperwork. Just ask.

Tuition is paid month to month. Cancel any time with a 30 day notice. We do not run annual contracts. We never have.

A whole new kid.

Parent FAQ

Questions parents
actually ask.

Will my kid get hurt?

Not the way you are imagining. Kids classes use padded gear, partner drills, and zero contact striking until well after a child has earned the right. Sparring is invitation only and always coached round by round. The most common injuries are bruised egos, blisters, and the occasional skinned knee.

My kid has never done martial arts. Is that okay?

Most of our kids start with zero experience. The first month is stance, balance, and learning to listen. Coach Ben starts every new student from zero, whether they are five years old or twelve.

What does my kid need to bring?

For the first class: comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and bare feet. That is it. We will let you know when it is time to add a uniform, gloves, or sparring gear. We do not push gear sales.

How fast can my kid earn a black belt?

Honest answer: years. We promote slow. We test in front of the room. We never sell a belt. If you want a black belt in eighteen months, this is the wrong academy.

Can I watch the class?

Every class. Every time. The bench is open. We encourage it. The mat at TCB New England is glass.
